FOR YOUR SECOND PANGAR MEETING
After Mady and Frayne claimed Isabelle as their daughter, they tried to get her to recognize various objects to jog her memory, the tapestry, the green bowl, the tortoise-shell comb, etc. For the next meeting, bring a favorite object that you think you would not fail to recognize if you lost your memory like Isabelle. You will share with the other club members why the object is so special to you.
FIRST QUESTION ON STOLEN
After Isabelle was rescued from the hunting dogs by Avis and her family, she could not remember who she was or where she came from , however--a couple of things did seem familiar to her--what were they?

PANGARS!! INTRODUCE YOURSELF!
Comment to this post by telling us a little about yourself--why you decided to join the book club, what you want to get out of the club. This is a moderated blogspot which means that all posts will be approved by me (Ms. Davies-Smith) before they are posted. This blogspot address is only given out to PANGAR members, their guardians and District 90 faculty but for safety's sake--do not use your full name in describing yourself. Just use an initial and start out by saying something like: "Hi, I'm L, a student at Fulton and I joined this book club because......."
What this book is about.....
A young girl of about 12, who can remember nothing of her name or her home, is rescued from the forest. She is soon taken up by a mother who calls her Isabelle and who insists that she is the daughter who disappeared years ago. The same woman's month-old baby was taken by a witch just a day before Isabelle is found, and the connection between the events is cleverly plotted and revealed.
